Dr. Cottle opened Lake Austin Eye in an effort to be closer to her family and community. After practicing in Cedar Park for five years, Dr. Cottle saw the need for a corrective eye surgeon closer to her home. She expanded her practice with Dr. Annie Chan in 2017. As two of the few cornea specialists in their area, Drs. Cottle and Chan also offer their expertise in more complicated ocular surgeries, as well as an extensive history of superior cataract surgery, corneal surgery, and LASIK vision correction. They are both experienced cornea specialists who perform the minimally invasive endothelial corneal transplantations, which allows their corneal transplant patients to have a quicker and smoother postoperative recovery. They are also specialists in Dry Eye Disease care and have extensive algorithms for the treatment options for this frustrating and chronic disease. Dr. Cottle is an active speaker on various ophthalmology circuits, where she has the opportunity to share her own personal experience while she gains new and different insight from her peers throughout the state and around the country. Dr. Chan brings her academic experience and has initiated various research opportunities at Lake Austin Eye.
Together, Drs. Cottle and Chan bring over twenty years of vision care and corrective eye surgery experience to Lake Austin Eye. They offer routine eye exams, dry eye exams, contact lens evaluations, glaucoma and diabetic eye exams, cataract evaluations and free LASIK consultations. Their lovely office is equipped with all of the state-of-the-art testing and eye exam equipment, and the location is easy to find with ample parking.
